During the program, all participants will be required to turn in a prospectus, a midterm project, and a final project with a final paper. All papers and projects must meet with the approval of a program mentor before being submitted. The prospectus will describe the project the participant will be working on, as well as what they hope to accomplish and how they will do it. Midterm projects will be submitted midway through the program and will be shown to all the participants to demonstrate the processes and progress of the project. Final projects and final papers are submitted at the end of the program to demonstrate further progress, any changes that were made, and any findings. Here are some examples of accepted final projects and final papers that were turned in by students from last year's program. Please look through them to get an idea of what will be expected of you if you are accepted into the program.
